A showcase of bands from the forth coming Album will be kicking it live in the main room upstairs followed swiftly and slickly by a host of DCFE MUSIC DJ’s, hungry for beats and bass downstairs in the basement. Meanwhile, in the main room, Body tonics MR JONES residents Frank and Colin will take the stage for 3 and a half hours of music. Expect everything from rock, pop, hip hop, electro/techno/bassline/kudoro and dubstep. With loads of drinks offers and at only 5 euro in, with student ID, 8 without, you will not find a better night out in Dublin. Tickets on the door.

DCFE Music Hops on the Bandwagon

The Band Wagon consists of all equipment required to record an interview and acoustic set inside a caravan! Traveling on a monthly basis to different counties of Ireland to interview original artists, the bandwagon will be pulling into the car park in DCFE this March where a few of I LOVE FESTIVAL musicians will be playing their tunes for the Bandwagon team. The whole event will be filmed and you can expect to see the footage right here on dcfemusic.com as well as on Bandwagons own site thebandwagontv.com. You’ll also find some information there on how to get your band on the Bandwagon. Happy caravan hopping to all!

Warm up Gigs

This January DCFE music will present a host of in college gigs to warm up for their big website launch on the 28th Jan. Various artists from DCFE will serenade their class mates in the canteen as they down cups of tea and read their copies of the metro. THE GREAT IRONIC PHOTO SHOOT!
Yes indeed, it’s a festival themed photo shoot in January!

This Wednesday 20th Jan will be the first I LOVE FESTIVAL photo shoot for the album. So put on your festival glad rags, grab a prop, and have some fun with our PR crew who you will see around the college sporting a various array of festival themed props.
If you look the part, we may ask you to take part!
